Full role description

 

Key responsibilities

-Collectively, the Teaching Team will be expected to inform enhancements to the structure and processes involved in the teaching and learning aspects of the programme

-Contributing to the review and development of training materials and associated resources for the Study Days and Participant Portal

-Active attendance and contribution to meetings of the Teaching Team and Programme Development Team

-Delivery partners are responsible for delivering events relating to the Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice including:

 

·         Participant study days

·         Mentor induction events

·         Participant/mentor development events

 

Essential skills:

·         At least three years current experience within the UK higher education sector

·         An understanding of the key current issues facing administrators and managers in higher education

·         A degree or equivalent professional qualification at an appropriate level

·         The ability (or the potential to rapidly acquire the ability) to present to diverse groups of staff at different levels

 

Underpinning knowledge

·         Academic administration and management

·         staff development and training

·         professional organisations

 

Desirable:

·         A masters degree or equivalent
