Conference announcement – a date for your diaries


The 2nd Linked Open Data Conference from the Cataloguing and Indexing Group in Scotland will take place on the 21st of September in Edinburgh. 

 

CIG Scotland is delighted to announce that Richard Wallis - LOD and semantic web expert and Technology Evangelist at OCLC - will provide the keynote address.

A full programme will be available shortly, and will feature speakers from across Europe, including Edina, the Open Knowledge Foundation, the National Library of Scotland, Bibliotheque nationale de France, the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and the DBC (Denmark).

The conference will be of relevance if you work with or are responsible for metadata, resource discovery, or data interoperability and are interested in linked data, open data and the semantic web learn how your metadata can work harder for you and others, and how other people's metadata can work harder for you.
