Apologies for cross posting

Hello all,

I hope you don't mind me using the list to introduce you to PhD2Published, a publishing resource for newbie academics.

The idea of PhD2Published is to provide lots of hints and tips on how early career academics might get their all important first book in print, as well as discussing the nature/future of academic publishing in general. I have recently completed my PhD on contemporary grandfathering and older male identities and am now working on a strategy for how best to publish it. I used qualitative methods and one paper I am currently developing is about the negotiation of identity in interview settings.

One simple way you can support this endeavour is by sending me your top 5 tips for getting published, your name and the name of, or preferably a link to, your most recent book. If there is something more specific you want to discuss such as academic writing or journal publishing etc, that is welcome too.

I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for your time,

Anna
