Stuck with LyX and latex for now... since the entire first draft of one book. I may look at this for future needs. LyX uses em spaces for white space, good for poetry and the best novel writing tool I know. I did start rewriting using Libre Office, but this is not going to work. (LaTex also works with Quark, thanks to the typesetting format.) I use to compile my own version of LyX, which I could tweak the config files and C flags for my needs, but thought I would try the ubuntu version. The full version still works, just much more then I need. May consider going back to my version but tweaking and compiling on a netbook may not be so easy?
