For my thesis, I'm researching the experiences of young children in natural history museums. I'd like to find some figures to demonstrate what an important audience young children are for these museums. I was wondering if anyone had visitor figures or surveys that break down their visitor numbers by age group?
Specifically, I'd like to know the proportion of visitors who are under the age of about 6 (could be <7s or <5s). These could be either or both school/nursery groups, or walk-in members of the public. If there is anyone out there who has access to these figures, and is willing to share them with me, please do let me know.
