I'm not sure if this is your sort of thing, but I'm really
interested in the faces of medieval and renaissance portrait
sculptures (usually tomb effigies, but there are also some
statues, and busts from later in the period). What I most
need are photos that are as close to true frontal and true
profile views as possible- and of course these are the most
difficult to get. But if you find yourself with the
opportunity to take any such images, I'd be most
grateful.
There are particular Italian examples that I'd be
especially keen on, but in most cases they are in awkward
positions (usually high up or in very dark situations) so I
don't think it would be fair to ask you to go out of your way
on the off-chance of their being snappable. Once your
itinerary is settled though, please let us know what it is, as
I may then ask you to have a go.
