Dear All

When you get this please can you tell the contact us team at NHS Evidence, [log in to unmask]

When I tell them this has happened to me they say “oh no one else has reported this problem” and its just isn’t good enough. It should be a system that’s robust enough to cope with our networks and their speeds. If I use Ovid via MyAthens it doesn’t time out, so it can be done.

Sorry for the rant. I have started doing all my searches at 8.30 am to miss the slow network crash option that starts from about 11 am.

If you save the contactus email to your contacts you can just email them without having to go through that awful character recognition thing on the NHS evidence website.

Best wishes

Sarah

Not sure what you mean by being turfed out, but I do keep getting “Connection Timed Out” message when attempting to select and download references. Unfortunately this is not unusual for this time of the day.

Hi Adam and other happy HDAS campers,

I've not been turfed out today (yet) but I can't for the life of me combine searches on any of the databases.  Hoping it's part of the same issue, but does anyone have any suggestions as to what I've missed?  (I have pressed the combine searches button so it's not that.)

Kind regards,

Madeleine

Dear List,

Hope you’re all well. Anyone else get unceremoniously turfed-out of HDAS (again!) this afternoon?

Thanks and all the Best,
