In the interests of excellence in content provision, description, and access, we are seeking a Bibliographic Services Librarian, experienced in a wide range of bibliographic/technical services functions and in staff management. You will manage colleagues working in the Bibliographic Services 'home team', including currently four Grade 5 Co-ordinators and Supervisors as direct reportees.

Applicants should have a good general education to degree level, a professional qualification in information management or librarianship (or knowledge and experience to equal or exceed this), proven ability to manage and motivate a team of colleagues, a deep knowledge of current and emerging bibliographic services and standards, strong IT competence, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
