That sounds a bit draconian!  No we don’t have anything like this, all staff are supposed to not take holiday during enrolment so last few days of August for a couple of weeks, but I’ve had Exams exempted from this for all the times during the rest of the year when we can’t take holidays.

Subject: 10 WEEK HOLIDAY BAN

 

Our new director has imposed a holiday ban on our office from 20th August through to the 29th October.

We think this is unreasonable does any other college’s have length of a holiday ban.

We have been told every FE college in the country has this holiday ban.  We do a voluntary ban at enrolment for 3-4 weeks.

We are going to try and oppose this ban but need some feedback to help us.
