I have an idea to write poems based on journalist news reports, financial reports, perhaps the weather report. The first rule is you must edit and rewrite the poem so that it fits a formal aspect of line verse. It should also carry the message or the affect of the news. No cut and paste conceptual poetry permitted. And the identity and proper nouns of the news report must not be given away. The use of generics is to be expected. (I rather like the idea of iambic pentameter in 14 lines.) Make up other rules as you go...
