VERLEIHUNG DER CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES AWARDS 2012 BEIM FILMFEST MÜNCHEN

Die CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES Awards werden in diesem Jahr zum fünften Mal verliehen. Aus rund 180 Wettbewerbsbeiträgen hat eine Fachjury die Gewinner 2012 ausgewählt. Am 30. Juni werden die Gewinnerclips während des Filmfest München bekannt gegeben und die Preise an die Gewinner überreicht. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass die deutsche Ausnahme-Schauspielerin Bibiana Beglau durch den Abend führen wird. Die Jurorin Murielle Perritaz, Geschäftsleiterin von Reso - Tanznetzwerk Schweiz (Zürich), wird die Gewinnerclips vorstellen und die Preise an die Künstler überreichen. Auch in diesem Jahr sind wieder aktuelle Arbeiten nationaler und internationaler Künstler und Companys in München zu Gast: die Candoco Dance Company, Xavier Le Roy, Martin Nachbar, Olga de Soto, Lance Gries, Hiroaki Umeda und eine Uraufführung der Münchner Choreografin Sabine Glenz stehen auf dem Programm. Schwerpunkt der TANZWERKSTATT EUROPA 2012 ist dabei die Auseinandersetzung mit Geschichte und Geschichten im Tanz, sowohl im Festivalprogramm als auch im Rahmen eines Symposium vom 3. bis 5. August. Die neuesten Filme aus aller Welt, Stars, Premieren, und laue Sommerabende - mehr braucht es nicht, um Filmfans glücklich zu machen. In seiner einzigartigen Atmosphäre feiert München vom 29. Juni bis 7. Juli zum 30. WALTER-FINK-PREIS 2012: DEADLINE 30. JUNI 2012
Wie kann das Verhältnis von Tanz und zeitgenössischer Musik angesichts interaktiver Medien im 21. Jahrhundert neu definiert werden? Der Mäzen Walter Fink sucht mit dem von ihm für das Institut für Musik und Akustik des ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie gestifteten «Walter-Fink-Preis des ZKM für elektroakustische Musik, Tanz und Medien» darauf Antworten zu finden. Elektronische und elektroakustische Musik, Neue Medien und Tanz/Körper sollen dabei eine Symbiose miteinander eingehen, die kreatürliche Bewegung mit avancierter Klangverarbeitungs- und Aufführungstechnik in Übereinstimmung bringen soll. CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES AWARDS CEREMONY 2012 DURING THE FILMFEST MUNICH

For the fifth time, the CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES Awards ceremony and presentation of the winning films takes place this year. Out of 180 films submitted to the competition a jury of experts has selected the winners 2012. On June 30, the winning clips will be presented during the Filmfest Munich. German actress Bibiana Beglau (Berlin/ Munich) will be the ceremony's host. Jury member Murielle Perritaz, director of Reso - dance network Switzerland (Zurich), will award the prizes to the winners. From June 29th to July 7th Munich will be celebrating cinema for the 30th time. 200 films in 6 festival theaters and the festival center at Gasteig will be the venue for discussions with directors, industry events and parties galore. WALTER-FINK-AWARD 2012: DEADLINE June 30, 2012
How can the relation between dance and contemporary music be defined seeing interactive media in our 21st century? The patron Walter Fink tries to find answers to this question by founding the "Walter-Fink-Award of the ZKM for Dance, Electronacoustic Music and Media" for the Institute for Music and Acoustics of the ZKM | Center for Art and Media. Electronic and electroacoustic music, new media and dance/body shall go into a symbiosis and bring together creature movements with advanced sound processing and performance techniques. Within this adjustment, the human body shall be the creative element, which, through the choreography, controls and creates the art in the moment of the performance.
