My previous employers (MGS) have said a conference biannual, so 2013 (prob Sept) is likely to be their next one. Thanks for the positive comments Nick *phew*

You mean *apart* from OpenCulture on the 26th & 27th June at the Oval featuring the BBC, Google & a host of speakers from museums and archives talking about the convergence of collections and digital (www.collectionslink.org.uk/openculture2012)?
I've always enjoyed the Bits to Blogs events which John Coburn put together, and I heard excellent things about the Museums Galleries Scotland event - does anyone know if either of these are running again? Also a +1 from me re: EVA, which has an excellent lineup and goes a bit more tech than most.

Hey all
Which are the most valuable / most useful conferences and meetups for people doing digital in the cultural heritage sector? There are the obvious ones like MCG / MuseumNext -- but I'd like to hear about any smaller/cheaper/more local ones too..
Also - the MA is claiming they're going to "do more digital" in their conference programme this year - any thoughts on the value of this?
I'm just trying to tease out what's coming up / what's worth coming along to.
