Then Welsh should be welsh all the time as it derives from usage not because it is right.

 

 

Just because it's more common doesn't make it right. In the same way that usage allows the use of -ise, -ising and -isation when the correct British English is -ize, -izing and -ization (except for those words derived from Latin).

 

The OED didn't even give organisation as an acceptable variant of organization until 1993.
