Adult Education: HRP is publishing podcasts on a regular basis through their iTunes U channel in combination with posts on Twitter/ Blog and Facebook, reaching audiences online.

Palace Explorers: A school and families project offering a quest and storyline using social media platforms, iPads and QR codes to create an immersive learning experience.

Speaker 1: Ina Pruegel is the Digital Learning Officer at Historic Royal Palaces, where she is developing digital projects and resources for different audiences, integrating new technologies for visitor experiences, interpretation and education within heritage and museum settings. For the past six years, Ina has been specialising in storytelling, play and creative learning and worked with a range of museums, arts and educational organizations, developing digital storytelling and creative workshops, learning resources and interactive learning experiences.

Presentation 2: Social Mobile in Museums: It's not just about adding 'share' button to your audioguide

Visitors are using their smartphones in our museums everyday, to tweet, text and take photographs. How can we hi-jack some of this existing behaviour to increase engagement and facilitate learning not only for our visitors but for ourselves? In this session, we'll explore how social applications, such as facebook and twitter, can offer museums a cost effective, quick and simple way to experiment with smartphone technology and apps and move us to a more strategic approach.

Speaker 2: Lindsey Green works with cultural heritage organisations, helping them to use mobile's capacity to deepen engagement through learning and play. In doing so, she has worked with some of the most innovative cultural organisations to deliver some of their most innovative projects, leading projects for Tate, English Heritage, the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum of Utah and National Palace Museum, Taipei.
