Hello,

The last email is actually wrong.

There is (as yet) no current journal paper for FNIRT, and Jesper Andersson
is the first author on all posters and technical reports related to FNIRT
as he is the person who developed the algorithm and wrote the code.
We recommend that people cite the following technical report and
main FSL paper (if they are not already citing the latter):

  - Andersson JLR, Jenkinson M, Smith S (2010) Non-linear registration, aka spatial normalisation. FMRIB technical report TR07JA2

  - M.W. Woolrich, S. Jbabdi, B. Patenaude, M. Chappell, S. Makni, T. Behrens, C. Beckmann, M. Jenkinson, S.M. Smith. Bayesian analysis of neuroimaging data in FSL. NeuroImage, 45:S173-186, 2009.

There are papers about FLIRT (very different) on which the first author
is Mark Jenkinson.

The reference for TBSS is a paper that Steve Smith is the first author on. It is:

  - S.M. Smith, M. Jenkinson, H. Johansen-Berg, D. Rueckert, T.E. Nichols, C.E. Mackay, K.E. Watkins, O. Ciccarelli, M.Z. Cader, P.M. Matthews, and T.E.J. Behrens. Tract-based spatial statistics: Voxelwise analysis of multi-subject diffusion data. NeuroImage, 31:1487-1505, 2006.

All the best,
	Mark
