Indeed. Assuming you are talking about an SAR the state of knowledge of the applicant about other persons data is one of the factors relevant under s7(4) (if PD of both)

If not PD of both technically outside of scope of the SAR butyou could also take into account state of knowledge in assessing condition 6 applicability - no unwarranted prejudice, and DC has a legitimate interest in not wasting resources on pointless redactions.

If third party data appears on a form that was completed for both the ds and their partner at the time (eg Housing tenancy form, housing benefit form) would you you redact the third party data - surely the ds would know it all anyway ?
