just got in from the 'remembering samuel coleridge-taylor' presentation
not only did we have an engaged audience, including those who travelled as far afield as Essex and Thamesmead, but there was a gentle aged 88, who was not only a SC-T fan, but had actually attended a SC-T programme at the Royal Albert Hall in 1953, I believe he said - and I thought the SC-T programmes at the RAH ended in the 1930s!
