For the answers to all of these are more then come along to Where There's 
Luck There's Brass  a  mini-conference on marketing and fundraising for 
archives at King's Manor in York, Friday 29th June 2012. 

This special one day event in York, costing only £2, will showcase a 
variety of fund-raising ideas including, sponsorship, crowdfunding, 
partnerships with business and advice directly from the Heritage Lottery 
Fund. The event will also feature sessions on marketing our services. 

The event is organised by the Northern region of the ARA but is open to

fundraising strategies: doing the research and ignoring the myths
Adam Lopardo - Show me the money - An introduction to private sector 
income 
Adam Lopardo - An Introduction to Crowdfunding

The day will also feature a consultation on the ?ARA?s Framework for 
Competencies for CPD by Caroline Williams and the Annual General meeting 
of the Northern region.
