The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (the Mechanism) is a new United Nations institution which was established by Security Council Resolution 1966 (2010). It will be the successor to the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), with branches in Arusha and The Hague. The Mechanism Archives and Records Section (MARS) will manage the Mechanism's own records and archives, and the archives of the ICTR and the ICTY. MARS will commence operations on 1 July 2012 and currently has the following job openings.
