Thanks alot  for your reply,
but actually, there is no old file in the directory and I am pretty sure that the timepoints are correct, so is there a way I could check that again, or may be could be be because of other reasons?

Make sure that: (1) you don't have old files in the directory you are trying to write the file to (e.g. remove old files related to the SPM.mat file - ResMS, mask, beta*, etc.); and (2) that you have data at each timepoint or in each subject.
