Column 1 should be all 1s. Column 2 is the level of factor 1 (e.g. subject), Column 3 is the level of factor 2 (e.g. group), and column 4 is the level of factor 3 (e.g. time).

Dear SPM users,

I want to perform a flexible factorial test on 333 subjects. I have chosen the option "specify all". But I don't really understand how build the matrix. I have three factors: subject, group and time. I have two groups with two scans for each subject at two different times.
The first column corresponds to the replication number: does it mean the number of the subject?
The 4th column need to contain all 1s?

Does it mean I have to write that:
1 1 2 1
2 1 2 1
3 1 2 1
I have wrote like that:
- The first column for subject 1 or 2 or 3...
- The second column for the scan at T1
- The third column for the scan at T2
- The 4th column with 1 at each line

I don't know how to do otherwise
