Research assistant needed in the Cognitive Neuroscience Division of the Neurology department at Columbia University in New York City, NY USA. Responsibilities are to assist with all study phases of functional and structural MRI for multiple projects. This includes use of outside image analysis software packages (e.g. SPM, FSL, Freesurfer) and support of in-house developed packages. Advanced computer skills are required including comfort using Linux and Windows and programming experience. Knowledge of psychological experiment software (E Prime, PsychToolbox, etc.) and/or fMRI analyses software helpful. Interest in cognitive neuroscience, neuroanatomy or statistics is also helpful. Bachelor's Degree in computer science, psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, math, or related field required. Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and have the ability to balance multiple tasks and demands.
