Evaluation Researchers meet in Pori, Finland
Welcome to debate and learn about evaluation as a tool for practical  
development

8th International Conference on Evaluation for Practice will be held  
at University Consortium Pori, Finland, 18-20 June, 2012.

The 1st conference of this important series was held in Huddersfield,  
UK, in 1995 and the 4th was held in Tampere, Finland, in 2002.

Now conference returns to Finland after 10 years bringing together  
researchers and practitioners from all over the world.

The focus of the conference is to make things better and thus to see  
evaluation as a tool for  improvement. The Plenary Speakers represent  
the research fields of social work, social policy, nursing science and  
work life research. In addition, there will be an Australian - Finnish  
Plenary Panel about the quality assurance of higher education and the  
workshop presentations cover also the evaluation of regional  
development.

The conference is sponsored by Tampere University Foundation,  
Federation of Finnish Learned Societies and The Finnish Work  
Environment Fund.

The registration will be open until 8 June 2012
