Not sure from the U.S. but you should be able to get a free eVisitor Visa at www.immi.gov.au (but this is only for EU passports - see PDF attached) or an ETA Business Visa at http://www.visabureau.com/australia/short-stay-business.aspxonline for AUD 20 in virtually no time.

I sent an abstract, they accepted it, but wanted more details, because  it was special (it was a reflection on a practise screenplay, and  someone else from the network reflected on it).

I was in another country last week, they wanted at that moment more  details, and I sent them these details from my hotel room.


But everything is quite confusing, there in Sydney.

It worries me.  But I can't wait any longer because the price of the  plane tickets.


  It is all very confusing.   I wouldn't worry too much. There is  something going on what we don't know, in Sydney, so go on. You will  be accepted. I don't think they have much choice.

I am partly financed to go to the screenwriting network conference in
Sydney, now in September.

I won't come as a teacher but as a practical screenwriter. It 's the
professional funding organisation in Flanders/Belgium that finances me
(and they finance only for 50% of the costs).
