Colleagues may also like to consider the implications of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 and the report produced by Sunita Mason into reviewing the CRB requirements both of which aim to reduce the need for CRB checks for non-regulated activity and to scale back the need to "common sense levels." I can see no need for records managers to be CRB checked.
