Dear Poppy you might want to try the e-Bug resources www.e-bug.eu, many of the classroom lesson plans have been designed with a limited budget in mind. These are all based on microbes, hygiene and the spread treatment and prevention of infection and are aimed at 9-11 and 12 - 15 year olds.
