Early Mendelssohn on cheap headphones. It can be identified far off: Opus twenty. Through a blender. But she, closer to a centre of life, stares into the spaces of its dynamic rising peace. She looks, unfocussed, while her brain searches a direction other than what its eyes must make of light, our travelling here, in which we both are moved as part of its content, her eyes overflowing with tears.
