Dear all,

Durham University is recruiting a PhD student to work on uncertainty audit and statistical emulation of models for electricity network investment decision making. A full description may be found at http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/AEC515/phd-project-uncertainty-audit-and-statistical-emulation-for-investment-decisions/

The project will be jointly supervised by Prof. Michael Goldstein in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, and Dr. Chris Dent in the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences. As well as this cross-disciplinary internal team, there will also be opportunities to work with modelling experts at National Grid.

This forms part of an EPSRC-funded consortium on "The autonomic power system" looking at control paradigms for future power systems - see for more details
