My understanding is that it has to be a medic & memory recalls the regs state the level of qualification accepted, including a GP with Dip Occ Med, as opposed to an OP( of course, in my opinion OPs will give a more informed decision)

We are in the process of reviewing our processes and procedures iro the above- is anyone out there working with the LGPS that we can liaise with? At present we are using an OHA for the first opinion, and the second opinion is given by our OHP. When I worked at Hampshire CC we used 2 OHPs. What are others doing?
