Question 2 first - certification timescales described on DWP website, but normally not given in more than 2 - 4 week chunks in my experience Question 1 - maybe ask for consent to contact GP to try and ascertain the rationale for such extended period of absence, do a report (with consent) based on what you know and the fact that the client does not want to engage with O so it is for management to consider how to progress the case. Over to HR I think, your job is done. I wouldnt attempt any more contact - may be construed as harrassment or similar On 24 May 2012 20:19, havbob <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Hi fellow colleagues,**** > > Here’s a poser for you that I have already addressed but would like to see > how you, my colleagues would manage it in the hope that we can all learn > something from this experience.
