Hi Sue As they are new how have they been diagnosed? GP? Family member? Self? Even if via GP he should ask for a referral to a migraine specialist...Migraine Trust have a list. As work seems to be a trigger then c spine tension and stress could be factors to look at? While waiting for specialist assessment physio could be an interim measure to identify and address any c spine muscle tension. But as with all issues....until he has a full thorough medical assessment you are shooting in dark......
