Hi All, I was wondering if anyone had come across any evidence for the need for helpline services specifically provided for African Caribbean groups? I know there are obvious language needs that would justify delivery of specific services for non-English speaking groups, but is there a case for helplines serving different ethnicities? We have had a few requests in the past from men who know of our helpline, but who have also heard of our African Caribbean Specialist Nurse, and request to speak specifically to him, so we are wondering if there is in fact a need for this targeted service. Any leads to existing evidence would be most useful.
