This innovative, multidisciplinary conference will focus on the implementation of evidence-based change at scale, in maternity and neonatal services.

International and national speakers will examine implementation from different perspectives and in a range of settings including hospitals, primary care and public health.

The conference will showcase the work of a large-scale project across Yorkshire and the Humber that aimed to create sustainable change across sectors, and to tackle inequalities in health. Those involved in the project - from maternity and neonatal units, public health, universities, regional organisations, and service user groups, will be available to discuss and demonstrate their work.

The conference will be of interest to all those working in the implementation of evidence in practice and policy, especially those with an interest in maternity and neonatal care.  This will include commissioners and managers of hospital, primary care and public health; practitioners including obstetricians, paediatricians, midwives, health visitors, neonatal nurses, their students and educators; service user representatives and community groups;  and researchers working in the field of implementation science.

The conference is co-hosted by the Mother and Infant Research Unit (MIRU), Dept of Health Sciences, University of York; the Hull York Medical School; the Maternal and Infant Health and Care theme of the Yorkshire and the Humber Health Innovation and Education Cluster; and the national Public Health Observatory for Children and Maternity (ChiMat)

Registration costs £75 for professionals and £45 for members of voluntary groups, parents and student midwives.
