medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Congratulations, Marjorie!
I have just begun to look through the new images, but so far the
ones from Barcelona are splendid. A question: who is the horned
child whose nurse (mother?) is dozing by the cradle, in MNAC Gothic
041?
best,
Genevra

Hello, All,
I'm afraid my grand plans for pictures of a sole of
Saint Andrew's foot went awry. My husband had a mild
stroke at sea and we were disembarked in Sousse, Tunisia.
He recovered fully but the ship would not allow us to
reboard so we had to improvise. Extra time in Genoa was
one aspect of this. I have two albums for your viewing:
one, of the permanent expo of Gothic art in Barcelona's
MNAC (there was a special expo but photos were not allowed
and guards were thick); and churches of Genoa, with
certain features I thought you'd find interesting. Very
soon, I'll post a thick album with pictures of Christian
Istanbul.
