Special section in 'Global Media and Communication'
NEWS CORP IN CHINA, LATIN MERICA, US, ITALY, INDIA AND NEW ZEALAND

Given the public spotlight on Rupert Murdoch and News Corp, the journal
'Global Media and Communication' has commissioned case studies exploring
how News Corp operates in six countries and regions. The short articles
explore a range of issues including News Corp's political influence,
corporate strategy, market dominance and cultural impact. Hopefully
colleagues will find them useful teaching and research materials in the
light of the issues raised by the Leveson Inquiry and the interest in the
power of media corporations more broadly.

Authors include: Rod Benson (US), Jospeh Chan (China), Paolo Gerbaudo
(Italy), Rodrigo Gomez Garcia (Latin America), Vibodh Parthasarathi
(India) and Peter Thompson (New Zealand).
