Following the work we've been doing with the Society of Chief Librarians on the Universal Reading Offer, a number of authorities have been asking about reading development strategies, both local and regional. At this coming week's SCL conference, we'll be running a workshop the Offer, covering what support heads of service would like on strategies, and will share any conclusions. In August, we'll be gathering together everyone's experiences of using the Offer to plan ahead for 2013-15. The sign up is going really well, so it looks like there'll be a lot of momentum behind the Offer strategy. The Powerpoint is attached.
