Service Charge and Asset Mapping Officer – Salary circa £20K per annum (pro rata)

Temporary (6 month fixed term – June-November 2012)

 

Purpose: to assist V2C to develop detailed maps and plans of that can be used to support the delivery and cost recovery of local services.

 

Key tasks:

 

·         Undertake site visits to match existing asset and service delivery with Ordnance Survey maps and plans

·         Creation and updating of data layers for V2C GIS system

·         Liaison with Housing Management and Asset Management teams

 

Skills and expertise required:

 

·         Accurate map reading and spatial awareness skills

·         Ability to work unsupervised

·         Experience of GIS

·         High level numerical and analytical skills

·         Eye for detail
