Dear members,
The e-Learning programme has recently updated and revised the JISC good practice guide on using Elluminate<http://www.jisc.ac.uk/elluminateguidance> to reflect the change to Blackboard Collaborate and produced a set of guidance materials: Designing for Participant Engagement with Blackboard Collaborate: A good practice guide to using Blackboard Collaborate to support teaching, learning & assessment, co-operative working and conferences (May 2012).

This is an excellent resource for those new to using the system, but also for those who are familiar with the technology, but would like to make better use of the system and to enhance their practice. The guide also includes links to sector resources and institutional case studies of use of Blackboard Collaborate.

The guide is available in various formats together with a Collaborate recording from Peter Chatteron, offering top tips in its use for learning and teaching and is available from: http://www.jisc.ac.uk/collaborateguidance
Best regards,
Sarah
