Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, a large University of Manchester Teaching Trust, is highly regarded by patients, other NHS Trusts and independent organisations. An exciting opportunity is available to become part of The Research and Development Department at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking to appoint a Medical Statistician to support research activities and to join our current team.

You will work under the supervision of the Senior Medical Statistician in providing advice to enhance the quality of research projects across all departments in the Trust and within our partner organisations. This will include providing expert statistical support to clinicians and others based within the Trust. You will play a role in advising the R&D Directorate aspects of research strategy. In addition to support activities, you will develop collaborative research both locally and nationally.

You will possess a higher degree in statistics or a degree with a substantial component in this field and have evidence of the ability to apply statistical techniques to medical and scientific research.
