Hi Nona
At Newcastle we have a policy of not scheduling exams during the 12 till 2 period on a Friday following a request from our Islamic Society. There are some exceptions but this is the position for the majority of subjects.
Hope this helps.
Pamela

Subject: Prayer during exams

Dear all

I am interested in the approach institutions have taken to prayer during exams. Do people allow students to get up and go to the back of the exam room to pray?

I know a call was made last year for advice on arrangements but they seemed to be more to do with fasting than prayer?
Thanks all

Nona
