Hi Nona At Newcastle we have a policy of not scheduling exams during the 12 till 2 period on a Friday following a request from our Islamic Society. There are some exceptions but this is the position for the majority of subjects. Hope this helps. Do people allow students to get up and go to the back of the exam room to pray? I know a call was made last year for advice on arrangements but they seemed to be more to do with fasting than prayer?
