Hi Andrew I've received your message. Whilst I'm here a bit about myself. I'm Liz Rayner, Assistant Programme Manager for Mathematics at Leyton Sixth Form College in east London. We have the awkward job of moving students from the dependency culture of schools and helping them improve their independent study skills so that they can progress on their courses and also prepare many of them for going on to university. I would like to find out how others have successfully helped young people make that transition.
