Call for Papers and Conference Themes

The 3rd International Conference on Geographies of Children, Young People and Families, Singapore, seeks submissions of papers and/or organised sessions (with either 4 or 5 speakers). We welcome abstracts for papers focusing on a range of themes relating to geographies of children, young people and families that explore topics such as:

You can submit an abstract and also submit details for a session (the paper contributors will then have to submit their abstracts independently but select the session title that they belong to). Everyone needs to enter the web site and set up your profile – then you can connect to all the submission pages. ‘Session submission’ access is under ‘home’.

You can also register for the conference – payment must be by credit card or alternatively you can post an international bankers draft to the required value in Singapore dollars. This should be sent by registered mail to:

The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to April 30th and there are a series of deadlines for the payment of registration at the different fee levels. I have been able to offer substantial reductions in the fees for postgraduate students and part-time employees (but evidence must be provided of this status).
