The Resilience Research Group within the Centre for Transport Studies, Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at UCL, is offering a research post to work on the research project: Introducing Aerospace Materials to Rail, funded by Technology Strategy Board, and Railway Safety and Standard Board.
The aim of this work is to introduce aerospace materials to the rail industry.
The main duties of the appointee will be system analysis of the costs and benefits of use of aerospace materials in the railway environments as well as stakeholder engagement and writing up reports.

Grade: 6
Hours:  Full Time
Salary (inclusive of London allowance): £28,057 to £29,585 per annum
