JISC-British Library DataCite Workshop (No.1): An Introduction to Data Citation and DataCite

All,

In partnership with JISC and the Digital Curation Centre (DCC), The British Library will be running a series of workshops throughout the next 15 months, to support and engender good data citation practice in the UK research data community.

The first workshop will be held in the British Library Conference Centre on Friday 25 May 2012.

This first event will provide an introduction to data citation and DataCite. This is intended as background/a beginner’s workshop for those who are just starting to look into citation and identification of their data, particularly as part of the most recent tranche of JISC-MRD projects. If you are unsure if this workshop will be relevant to you, please do get in touch and we’d be happy to give you more information.

The programme and registration is available at: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/3231143437

Best wishes, Rachael.
