Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Opens Library and Archives - WSJ.com
The library's collection spans more than 3,500 books, 1,400 audio
recordings and 270 videos. It includes contracts, correspondence and
photographs donated by industry icons such as Scotty Moore, Elvis Presley's
original guitarist, whose papers were recently acquired. The Rock Hall had
been accumulating such materials for years, but it was difficult for the
public to access them; there wasn't much room for storage and research in
the museum's pyramid-shaped headquarters.
