Dear Colleagues,

More money for extra-curricular STEM activities!

You may have heard on the grapevine that the STEM Directories will be launching an exciting new grants scheme for schools. Teachers will be able to apply for up to £500 to help cover the cost of booking an activity listed on the website. Stay tuned for further information.

Site Improvements

Before we publicly open the scheme to schools, we have taken the opportunity to make some much needed changes to the site based on user feedback. As part of this process have moved to a new database system. Please bear with us whilst we do our best to keep technical disruption to a minimum, but we are confident that both teachers and providers will benefit in the long term from an improved service.

Update your details

We are contacting all existing providers to ask them to refresh their details (check your spam folders if you haven’t received it!). If you know that your organisation's contact details have changed and/or are having difficulties finding your scheme. Please get in touch with us via the website

http://new.stemdirectories.org.uk/contact-us/  and we will do our best to assist. Any unconfirmed schemes will be removed and won’t be eligible for the grants scheme.

Not registered? Get on board now

It is free to register and submit schemes on the STEM directories website. However, they must involve science, technology, engineering or maths-related enrichment activities and be available for UK teachers to book either locally or nationally.

To register, please use the following link http://new.stemdirectories.org.uk

Suitable schemes could include outreach shows, workshops, challenge days, school excursions to your centre or company, visiting speakers. Examples of schemes that are unsuitable include lesson plans, teacher CPD or resource-based websites. You can always list these on other teacher-related sites.
