Sacramentum chez Tertullien, Demetri Michaelides
The Christian Sacrament, Willian A. Van Roo (page 38 with bibliography. Available through google books)
Emmanuel J. Cutrone, "Sacraments" in Augustine Through the Ages ed. by Allan Fritzgerald (extensive bibliography)
One avenue of research might be to locate the appropriate bibliical passages and then go to medieval commentaries on those scriptures.

Could anyone direct me to bibliography exploring the liturgical/theological terms "mysterium" and "sacramentum" in the late antique and medieval periods, and to what extent they differ and overlap in meaning? I have not been able to find much and would be most grateful for any help. -- Paul
