This day seminar will bring together people working in the field of hip hop, education and identities from a range of perspectives including sociology, culture and media studies and music. Speakers include Dr Patrick Turner (Goldsmiths College and London Metropolitan University), Dr Rupa Huq (Kingston University) and Dr Chris Richards (Institute of Education).

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education.
