A Training Session:
MCGers might like to know that on 25 April Creating Capacity will be running
Copyright essentials: A practical introduction. The course will support all
those who need clear solutions to copyright issues. Vitally it will guide
participants through recent proposed changes to the copyright legislation
following the Hargreaves Review of Intellectual Property (IP) and Growth.

The session will be run by Naomi Korn, leading IP Consultant. Over the last
11 years, Naomi Korn Copyright Consultancy has helped organisations to embed
IP policies, manage and organise their rights, assess their risks, develop
accessible toolkits to handle compliance issues and the exploitation of
their rights.

What are the benefits of attending?
As a result of this course participants will be feel confident in handling
copyright issues. The session focuses on:
-  Awareness of key copyright issues and crucial changes to copyright
legislation
-  Achieving good copyright practice
-  Carrying out a copyright audit
-  Understanding how risks can be managed
-  Understanding organisational requirements
