 2gether NHS Foundation Trust provides library services to NHS Gloucestershire under the terms of the South West Strategic Health Authority’s Learning and Development Agreement. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Librarian to be responsible for provision of services to primary care in Gloucestershire. Candidates will be responsible for delivering a range of services to staff and students, including an enquiry service, collection development, document delivery and user education and electronic database training.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in librarianship or information science and preferably previous experience in a healthcare setting.

Applicants will have expertise in using a wide range of electronic information resources and be a confident communicator.

Candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work under pressure, be a good team player and work independently as required, and have the ability to work with users with a wide range of needs, expectations and skill levels. The post holder will be based at Wotton Lawn in Gloucester but will be required to work at other sites across the county.
